Nightingale Road is a three bedroom, detached townhouse able to comfortably accommodate six guests located just 350 yards away from the beach. The internal décor definitely has a stylish beachside vibe about it, the living room is a lovely social area which has a large corner sofa, 50" TV with Xbox/PlayStation and a few board games should you wish to chill on a rainy day/evening. The rear courtyard garden is a perfect place to sit out on the garden furniture and enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine while catching a few rays of the sun in the afternoon.
This is an ideal base for couples and families looking for a holiday on the Hampshire, South Coast, you are only a few minutes walk, from Southsea beach and the common where you’ll find a popular tea rooms.
Old Portsmouth is less than a mile walk away with cobbled streets and traditional English pubs serving a great selection of food and drinks with views over the Solent and the harbour, which carries an interesting array of freight, passenger and military ships, a short stroll further and you can shop to your heart’s content in the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre. Unwind at one of the many cafés, bars or restaurants, take in a film at the cinema or have fun at the bowling alley or the casino.
Set sail with the kids at Miniports or have an exhilarating ride in a RIB, not forgetting to make sure you also take in the amazing views from the top of the Spinnaker Tower.
Nearby attractions include Portsmouth Historic Dockyard featuring HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Exhibition, The D-Day Museum, Southsea castle and Blue Reef Aquarium.
