Extra Amenities

A superb holiday retreat located in beautiful Fowey, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its town on the west side of the Fowey estuary. Here, the large, deep water harbour is a magnet for sailing enthusiasts.

Once through the front door you will be aware of the space awarded to this gem of a property. You are welcomed by a large hallway which leads off to an inviting lounge, offering supremely comfortable seating. The adjoining dining room plays host to a wonderful table and chairs, perfect for enjoying any culinary creation. The kitchen is very well equipped and has plenty of workspace along with a breakfast bar. A thoughtful utility room with washing machine leads to a downstairs bathroom, whilst a door to the garage for guests’ use completes the ground floor accommodation.

The sweeping staircase leads to four excellent double bedrooms, the master with en-suite and TV, whilst a luxurious family bathroom complete with shower and bath is a fine addition to what is a fabulously presented house. The garden is reached via bi-fold doors and has ample space and seating, the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or perhaps your favourite beverage at the end of a busy day of excursions!

Within walking distance, you can explore the ever-narrowing streets of the old town where ancient buildings cast shadows over one another and a vibrant maritime history comes to life. Enjoy a trip on a pleasure boat, as the famous river and its many creeks run inland past the Bodinnick Ferry through wonderful woodlands.

Readymoney Cove is a sandy beach to the south of the harbour and is sheltered by cliffs and bounded, on one side, by St Catherine’s Castle.
Venture further afield and visit the world-renowned Eden Project, housing its very own tropical rainforest and Mediterranean climate beneath huge Biomes, whilst atmospheric Bodmin Moor with its craggy tors and mysterious outcrops has vistas to behold. To the West is Charlestown, which appears in many films and TV series’ and is a step back in time. The amazing Museum here shares a history of shipwrecks and smuggling, once so prevalent in this part of Cornwall
