Why not visit Old Mother Shipton’s cave alongside the River Nidd in Knaresborough? You are ideally situated for easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors and coast. Nearby attractions include the spa town of Harrogate with the famous Betty’s tea room. Boroughbridge is a small pretty town with a few shops, tea rooms and pub.

Ripon is also worth a visit with its grand cathedral and traditional market square. The walled city of York also makes a grand day out with musuems, shops, quaint alley ways and of course, the majestic minster.
