With a comfortable living room for all the family, a traditional dining room and a modern kitchen, this house has a real home from home feel and boasts stunning sea views from the front bedrooms. There is a lovely enclosed garden to the front, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach, out exploring all the this amazing coastline has to offer, or venturing out into the North York Moors National Park and its unspoilt scenery.
Situated just off the Cleveland Way, there are many fine moorland and cliff top walks, as well as golf links nearby. Just a 10-minute stroll down the cobbled street brings you to the centre of the picturesque fishing village with its small harbour nestling beneath rugged cliffs. Step back in time and walk the quaint narrow passages, as Captain James Cook himself must have done, and discover village shops, pubs, cafés and a restaurant.

There are many other coves and bays along the coast both north and south of Staithes, with one of the main attractions being the fishing town of Whitby. With its links to Dracula, a haunting abbey sitting above the town, as well as many festivals and events including the Goth weekender, a regatta and a folk week to name just a few. There are plenty of boat trips to take you out to sea in search of whales and dolphins, while the North Yorkshire Moors railway steam train from Whitby takes you through the countryside to the village of Goathland, also known as Aidensfield from the TV show Heartbeat.

Traditional seaside resorts including Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey are easily accessible, with attractions including The Sealife Centre, Peasholm Park, two beaches, an outdoor music arena and a water park. Staithes hosts a Lifeboat Weekend every August to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. With a wide range of activities for all the family to enjoy, this is a great opportunity to watch lifeboat rescues, raft races, duck races, and enjoy a seafront barbecue. The walled city of York is also well worth a visit with its Jorvik Viking Centre and National Railway Museum as well as a great variety of other attractions to enjoy. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yard
