The Four Views Cottage
4 bedrooms, sleeps 7
A fantastic three-storey apartment situated in the heart of Whitby, The Four Views offers the perfect place for a coastal holiday.
The Four Views is a fantastic, contemporary-style apartment which spans over three floors. The first floor offers an open plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious living area. The top floor of the apartment offers stunning views in all directions over this beautiful town. The property is situated in the heart of Whitby with its shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Whitby Abbey’s famous 199 steps. The old part of town dates back to the 1800s and is an attraction in its own right, and with the Whitby Abbey and St Marys church are just a stone’s throw away.
Taste the wonderful fish and chips while sitting by the sea, and then work them off with a cliff-top walk.
Why not take a ride on a tour bus to make sure you don’t miss out on everything Whitby has to offer, or take a trip on one of the boats and enjoy a tour around the harbour and out to sea. Whitby offers something for everyone, whether it’s getting away with the family for some seaside fun, or long romantic walks along the coast and dining in quality restaurants.
If 3 miles of unspoilt beach isn’t enough, Whitby is also in a fantastic location to get out and explore the natural beauty of the North York Moors and The Yorkshire Heritage Coast. The unspoilt fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay, which nestles into the cliffs of the Heritage Coast, is only 5½ miles away.
Other unspoilt villages include Runswick Bay, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Staithes.
There are an abundance of walks and cycle tracks close by including the Cleveland Way, as well as the Esk Valley and its stunning scenery. Esk Valley can be best enjoyed from the windows of the steam train that travels right into the heart of the Yorkshire Moors National Park from Whitby to Goathland. Other attractions for a day out include the Beamish Museum, Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land. York is just an hour away and is well worth a visit, with attractions including the Jorvik Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 10 yards
