Walking and cycling can be enjoyed direct from doorstep. An abundance of eating establishments, many located alongside the river within 10 minutes’ drive. RSPB Strumpshaw Fen 9 minutes’ drive. Visit Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, and join a day trip or charter your own launch and wind along the waterways. From here, you can also hop on Bure Valley Railway and take a trip across open fields to the bustling market town of Aylsham.
Venture off into the grand city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, theatre, museums, excellent shopping including outdoor market square, and an array of cafés, pubs and restaurants.

The traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth with its Golden Mile filled with amusements, fun fair, model village, wax works, pier and promenade, and town centre with shops all within a half an hour drive from your stay. Beach 14 miles.
