What to do when staying in Surrey

Surrey is very close proximity (about half an hour) to the English Capital City of London - steeped in history and culture, several National Trust historic houses (Hampton Court and Loseley Park) and truly English towns and villages. There are lots of activities in Surrey such as cycling, walking, sailing and golf. The Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede by the Thames in Surrey. Epsom and Sandown have very famous Racing courses, and Thorpe Park is nearby. The Mclaren factory is in Woking and the Top Gear track is at Dunsford for those who enjoy motoring an of course Mercedes Benz World!

The south of the county is less populated with lots of open spaces.
