Millers Rest is situated in a unique location overlooking Cattell’s Mill, a windmill built in 1828 and adjacent to the owners’ home. Located in the village of Willingham, Cambridgeshire, this comfortable one bedroom cottage is in an ideal location for couples wanting to explore the local area. The historic university city of Cambridge is only 9 miles away where you can enjoy a punt along the River Cam, take in the magnificent architecture of the university buildings, visit museums or spend the day shopping in the many department stores, high street shops and individual boutiques. The city of Ely is 15 miles away, famous for its stunning cathedral and the location where Oliver Cromwell resided for 10 years. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is well worth a day out with its historical accounts of the 1st and 2nd World Wars. Make the most of the beautiful countryside by walking and cycling through it or visit Fen Drayton Lakes which is a haven for birdlife around the lakes and traditional riverside meadows, next to the River Great Ouse. Approximately 1 mile to the Cambridge Guided Busway and cycleway. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
