On the ground floor you’ll find the master bedroom, complete with shower/wet room and plenty of storage. Upstairs is the second bedroom with twin single beds and space for the travel cot, and family bathroom. The house benefits from plenty of natural light and modern plantation shutters to the windows and the second bedroom also has Velux windows and blackout blinds,along with free Wi-Fi.

Mersea Island benefits from some fantastic shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs as well as being famous for its seafood and brightly coloured beach huts. Enjoy a drink or something to eat in one of the family friendly pubs and restaurants. Mersea Island is great for anyone who wants a break beside the sea but there are lots of activities to keep you busy too - walking, cycling and sailing to name a few. The Boat House is an ideal location from which to explore Mersea Island.
Cudmore Grove Country Park is situated a short distance away at East Mersea and is terrific for those who prefer green open spaces and quieter spots, why not take a picnic? Should you decide to travel, only 20 minutes away and you can find yourself in the historic city of of Colchester or Maldon, both worth a visit.

There are two beachside cafes, a park, a small shop (seasonal) and a bar serving food all within 5 minutes walk of the property. There are further amenities just over a mile away including butchers, bakery and supermarket
