The seaside village of Mundesley is 8 minutes’ drive away and has lots of places where you can eat and drink, as well as a wide sandy beach which is considered by many to be one of the best in the area. it also has a golf course to enjoy.
Wroxham, 24 minutes’ drive away, is known as ‘capital’ of the Norfolk Broads and offers daily boat hire, river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés, shops (including a supermarket), a miniature village, and a train station with both mainline railway links and which is home to the Bure Valley Steam Gauge railway which visits the villages of Coltishall, Buxton and the market town of Aylsham.

Enjoy a day trip to the popular coastal resorts of Cromer, with its famous pier, and Sheringham, which is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. Waxham and Horsey offer excellent beaches backed by dunes.
Shopaholics should head to the medieval city of Norwich, 18 miles, with two indoor shopping malls, a market square and plenty of eateries.
