The properties, set within the owner’s grounds, are ideally set to explore the stunning locations along this coastal stretch, with wide sandy beaches and the famous Norfolk Broads. Situated peacefully on the edge of the market town of North Walsham, these delightful lodges enjoy rural views. Enjoying the sun all day long, the enclosed lawned garden has a sitting-out area and furniture, as well as a shared summerhouse. Guests can further enjoy the shared 3-acre enclosed paddock, games room with table football and pool table, and football goals for the children.
There are walking and cycling opportunities which can be enjoyed locally. Weavers Way footpath is nearby, and there is a network of quiet lanes surrounding the lodges.
North Walsham, 2 miles away, has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, a bank, weekly market, bowling alley, leisure centre with swimming pool, restaurants and cafés. Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 8¼ miles away, with daily boat hire, river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. The popular seaside town of Cromer, 11 miles, has a beach, promenade gardens, pier and plenty of amenities. The sandy beaches of Mundesley and Bacton are within a 20-minute drive.
Felbrigg and Blickling Halls (National Trust), and Sheringham Park are all within a 30-minute drive, or visit the Georgian market town of Holt, 19 miles, and Blakeney Quay, 23 miles.
RSPB nature and bird reserves, including Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, and the coastal path can be reached in an hour. A must for families is BeWILDerwood at Horning, 8 miles, a treetop adventure woodland, or Dinosaur Park at Weston Park, 20 miles. The city of Norwich, 15 miles, has excellent shopping centres, a theatre, market, castle museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
