With its own driveway and 360-degree views over wooded valleys, you will feel the weight of the world slip from your shoulders as soon as you arrive at Valley View Lodge. Furnished to luxury standards, the owners have taken great care to ensure that everything is ecologically friendly, and you will notice some lovely touches from the moment you arrive at this bespoke, single-storey, detached lodge. Boasting a large private decking area (part south-facing) and two bathrooms (one a wet room), this property really does have everything discerning guests require for the perfect stay. Kelling Heath Holiday Park is set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers an indoor heated swimming pool and spa, spa pool a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, well-equipped gym, sauna, steam room, restaurant, bar and pizza restaurant/takeaway a 5-minute walk away.
A leisure centre pass is required, and guests at Valley View Lodge can get two passes for the price of one. On the village square is a well-stocked shop featuring many locally produced items as well as all essentials and there is also bicycle hire available.
There are great walks and cycle routes to enjoy the wildlife such as red squirrels, a bug hotel and bat population, ponds with fishing, and lots of organised activities for young and old alike, as well as live entertainments on the village square. The park is also a designated Dark Sky Discovery Site, and the owners of Valley View Lodge have thoughtfully provided a telescope, perfect for star gazing to your heart’s content.
Kelling Heath also hosts lots of great events throughout the year, and many guests who come here need never leave as there is so much to do. If you can tear yourself away however, you will find yourself close to all the action of the stunning north Norfolk coastline with Weybourne Beach just over a mile away. The North Norfolk Heritage Steam Railway has a stop at Kelling Heath and you can step back in time as you board for Sheringham and Holt. The Norfolk Broads, Thursford Steam and Muckleburgh Military Collections, numerous beaches and marsh habitats such as Cromer, Sheringham, Blakeney and Cley, are all within easy reach, as are Sheringham Park and the Blickling and Holkham Estates.
