This detached stone built cottage is located towards the edge of the village, being close to many local attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the pretty market town of Bakewell. The owners, to create a very welcoming and warm cottage atmosphere throughout, have tastefully and sympathetically restored and extended accommodation. You enter the property into the very light and airy well equipped vaulted kitchen/diningarea which has all the equipment you will require for your stay - it further benefits from taking in the late afternoon and early evening sun.

Off this room is a ground floor cloakroom with hand basin and toilet. The kitchen leads through into the very good sized lounge with imposing gritstone fireplace, housing wood burning stove. The original stone steps (be careful as you go up and down) from the lounge go to the bedroom area, with a vaulted ceiling and original king post truss giving the room plenty of character and charm and a king size - the bedroom has its own en suite shower room, with hand basin and toilet.

The bedroom window takes in the early morning sun and a glazed door from the bedroom takes you out onto the decked veranda which enjoys views across fields and open countryside, along with the sun through to the late afternoon and early evening.
