Dating back to the 17th century, this Grade II listed country home is full of charm and makes a wonderfully peaceful base in the hamlet of Lower Apperley. With lovely rural views and a calm setting, it is well suited to family holidays and get-togethers where you want to spend quality time together, with countryside walks on the doorstep and plenty of places to explore a little further afield.
Step inside and you will find character at every turn, from the inviting dining and sitting room to the cosy wood-burner that is perfect after a dayoutdoors.

Gas central heating keeps the house comfortable throughout the seasons, while the overall feel remains homely and relaxed. The layout includes an en suite, a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet, along with an additional shower in the utility room, which is handy for larger groups. One of the upstairs twins is reached via an adjoining double room, a walkthrough arrangement that works particularly well for families travelling with children. A highchair and cot can be requested at the time of booking if needed.
Outside, there isgenerous driveway parking, with space for up to five cars, making arrival simple for larger parties.

Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome, so everyone can share in the break. From the village you can enjoy gentle walks with riverside scenery nearby, or head out for days in the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean or the Malvern Hills, all popular areas for walking and sightseeing. After days exploring, return to this historic hideaway for a relaxed evening by the fire.
