Lake View is a contemporary two bedroomed apartment which is ideal for couples or small families wanting to explore the central and southern lakes. With an allocated parking space you can enjoy all of this popular tourist town’s shops, bars, cafés and restaurants without having to negotiate town centre traffic and parking charges. There is a comfortable living room with comfy seating and dining for four, a compact but well-equipped kitchen, two nicely presented bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Whilst there is plenty in Bowness to keep everyone entertained, fed and watered, there is of course lots to see and do outside of the town and the apartment makes a great base from which to explore. Other Cumbrian towns worth visiting within easy access include Ambleside, Kendal, Hawkshead, Cartmel and Ulverston.
Families with children will enjoy a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter, South Lakes Zoo, the Lakeland Aquarium, Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, where you can take a ride on a steam train. Grizedale Forest also makes a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking, Segways and the Go Ape treetop adventure. There are plenty of events and festivals held throughout the year, which together with the stunning scenery and great walking opportunities, make this the perfect year round destination.
