Kimberdale Lodge is spacious and beautifully situated. Set in large gardens with a picturesque, rural outlook in the peaceful Cumbrian countryside. It is flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling patio doors which open out from the open plan living space. Kimberdale Lodge oozes space and style from its modern and fully equipped kitchen to the living area with comfortable leather sofas, where you can sit and relax overlooking the garden. The bedrooms boasts comfortable beds and quality linen whilst the sleek shower room boasts a large walk-in shower.
The covered area to the rear of the lodge is particularly handy for all your wet weather gear – we do sometimes get rain here in Cumbria!
Whilst Kimberdale Lodge is set in a rural area you are only a short drive from Carlisle and the M6 motorway, making it the ideal base to explore the surrounding area which includes the Lake District National Park, not to mention the world famous Hadrian’s Wall which is basically on yourdoorstep.
Surrounded by miles of quiet country lanes it’s the perfect location for a walk or a bike ride, perhaps stopping off at some of the local village pubs on your way. Just a short drive south of the Scottish Border, and close to the Solway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can spot a fantastic array of wildlife. The border city of Carlisle also has plenty to see and do including the castle, Tullie House Museum and a whole host of shops, cafés and restaurants
