Hazelrigg Farm is an idyllic holiday cottage for you and your family to enjoy time together in the South Lake District. The cottage has a spacious living room with large wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room and a downstairs family bathroom. The first floor boasts a second family bathroom, large kingsize bedroom with beams, double bedroom and a twin bedroom.
The cottage is perfectly positioned in Newby Bridge, a hot spot for many local attractions, this popular area is home to the Lakes Aquarium and Windermere Lake Cruises, Haverthwaite steam train and many more.
The start of the largest lake in the UK, Windermere is just a few minutes’ drive away where a plethora of water activities are available.
Just 15 minutes down the road is the traditional village of Cartmel, famous for its horse racing weekends and also for its sticky toffee pudding; this quirky village is definitely worth a visit.
Cartmel also offers two Michelin star restaurants for you to enjoy, so be sure to book.
Hazelrigg Farm is the perfect base for a gateway into the lakes, so whether you are planning to enjoy walking a few of the 214 Wainwrights fells, cycle the fantastic roads or drive to other popular towns around Cumbria such as Ulverston, Ambleside, Coniston, Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere, you are spoilt for choice.
