Nestled in the tranquil Devon village of Holcombe, it is ideal for families and couples, and of course two, four legged friends. There are two good pubs which serve food within easy walking distance. Lobster Cottage is full of character and charm and is furnished to a good standard, with low ceilings and some original features.

Lobster Cottage makes an excellent base nestled between the seaside resorts of Dawlish and Teignmouth, both just 1½ miles away. Holcombe’s own sandy beach or open countryside is a just a 5-minute walk away. The cottage is within easy driving distance of Exeter, Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Dartmoor and there are many National Trust properties close by.

Dartmoor, with its tors, ponies and quaint, picturesque villages offering Devon cream teas, is just a short drive away. Shaldon is just 3 miles away and has a sandy beach and a small zoo.
