The Stables is a beautifully presented detached barn conversion in the picturesque village of Rudston, midway between Driffield and Bridlington in the heart of the unspoilt rolling hills of The Yorkshire Wolds. Brick-built and with a pantile roof this dog friendly holiday home is packed with character and offers stunning interior design. It is just perfect for two to enjoy a romantic break away.

The Stables provides ground floor accommodation throughout. The living room is decorated in deep rich colours and the large comfortable sofa is ideal for snuggling up on during the evening to enjoy a movie on the large Smart TV. Across the hall is the well-equipped kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob. There is plenty of work top space where you can prepare a picnic to enjoy whilst out exploring or create a delicious home cooked evening meal.

The small breakfast bar is perfectly placed in front of the picture window. Along the corridor is the house bathroom with walk-in shower. The accommodation is completed by a king-size bedroom which again offers stunning interior design as well as a stable door which leads out to the private patio area with additional seating. Here you can enjoy an early morning coffee or soak a while in the freshwater wood fired hot tub and listen to the owls hunting or simply lay back and stargaze.

A stone’s throw from the front door will bring to a bridle path and from here there are miles of walking and cycling opportunities. The village pub is worth a visit to enjoy some real ales and local hospitality.

Further afield is the market town of Driffield, the Minster town of Beverley – renowned for his racecourse and cobbled streets as well as the pretty village of Hunmanby and the seaside towns of Hornsea and Bridlington. A holiday to this area would not be complete without a visit to RSBP Bempton Cliffs, famous for its Puffins and Gannets which visit during the summer months. If you enjoy a little culture then the stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sledmere House and Sewerby Hall and Gardens are easily accessible. The historic City of York and magical coastal town of Whitby are under an hour’s drive away. The Stables is the perfect base for your Yorkshire holiday no matter what the time of year.
