Hill Rise is a bright and airy semi-detached house with far reaching views on the edge of the pretty seaside village of Flamborough, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Ideally located for a family or group of friends to relax and enjoy this beautiful coastline. In the living room the large bay window floods the room with natural light and there is plenty of comfortable seating where you can cosy up and watch a movie in front of the gas fire. The kitchen is well appointed with both a gas hob and an electric double oven; perfect for cooking a delicious meal at the end of the day which can be enjoyed in the dining room. On the first floor are two very comfortable double bedrooms; one offering a glimpse of the sea in the distance and the other beautiful views across the garden to open countryside beyond.
There are two bathrooms to choose from – a ground floor wet room and the house bathroom on the first floor where you can enjoy a long soak in the bath after a day bird watching or exploring the local area. Patio doors from the dining room provide access to the enclosed rear garden which is surrounded by beautifully planted boarders, a large patio area with seating and well-kept lawn. The front of the garden also provides a lawned area as well as off road parking for two cars.
A short stroll from Hill Rise will find you in the heart of the village where you can find plenty of shops, tea rooms and three great pubs serving casked ales and traditional home cooked food. Access to the nature reserve, Danes Dyke, is just along the road and offers a beautiful woodland walks leading down to the sandy beach.
To the north of the village, the 400-foot high cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England, whilst South Landing has some fascinating natural trails. A visit in May to see the Puffins is a must! The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Burton Constable and Sledmere House are also within travelling distance as are the popular seaside resorts of Filey and Scarborough. A little further afield are the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, the stunning North York Moors National Park, the historic city of York and market town of Beverley.
