Nestled in the heart of the village of Glaisdale, within the North York Moors, Arncliffe View is a charming cottage dating back to 1640, rumored to be one of the oldest buildings in the village.

Kitchen/dining room: With wood burner, electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine.
Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed.
Bathroom 2: With freestanding bath, shower attachment and toilet.

The ground floor also includes a utility room and a convenient shower room.
Upstairs on the first floor, there are two beautifully furnished bedrooms, a double and a kingsize, each equipped with drawers and wardrobes. The furniture throughout the cottage is antique and in keeping with its age and character.

A stylish bathroom with a freestanding bath adds a touch of luxury. There’s also a quirky little reading room tucked under the stairs, a little hideaway, for peaceful moments of relaxation. On the second floor, at the top of the cottage, a twin bedroom under the eaves leads into a playful room with games for younger family members to enjoy, complete with Velux windows, making this a bright and welcoming space. Outside, Arncliffe View offers a off road parking for up to four cars and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio, ideal for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying elevated views over the countryside.
Glaisdale itself is a charming village with its own pub and an abundance of walking trails that span the moorland, perfect for exploring the beauty of the North York Moors National Park. The park offers numerous scenic trails for all abilities, showcasing rolling hills, heather moorlands, and ancient woodlands.

The heritage steam train, which runs through the park, provides a nostalgic journey through stunning landscapes and picturesque villages. A short drive away are the charming coastal towns of Whitby, Staithes, and Robin Hood’s Bay. Whitby is famous for its historic abbey and connections to Captain Cook, while Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay offer quaint fishing village charm and stunning coastal walks.
