Days out can be enjoyed at the great houses of Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall. The vibrant, medieval city of York, 24 miles, is steeped in history and brimming with attractions, including the iconic Minster and the National Railway Museum. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
