This luxury property is equipped with exceptional facilities, including an OLED TV with directional acoustic screen and Netflix in the living area, and luxury mattresses and pillows in both bedrooms. Overlooking one of Scarborough’s prestige garden squares, and with side sea views, this accommodation sits amid a row of elegant Victorian houses. The apartment is presented to a high specification with fine furnishings and contemporary design.
Within walking distance there are restaurants, wine bars, pubs and shops as well as the Italian Gardens. The apartment is just around the corner from a hotel where you can relax in the spa, use the gym or have a swim (payable to the hotel). From the apartment you can walk down to the beach or catch the cliff tram, the first funicular railway, built in the UK in 1865.
The Marine Drive stretches for over 3 miles along the seafront. This is also part of the Cleveland Way walk that carries on down the coast finishing in Filey. Scarborough boasts two very famous theatres: The Stephen Joseph Theatre, which is home to most of Alan Ayckbourn’s premiéres, and the open air theatre, which is one of the largest open air theatres in Europe.
The Haven is a great base to visit the East Coast with Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby to the north and Filey and Flamborough Head to the south. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive away where you can watch the puffins perched on the cliffs.
The medieval city of York is just an hour’s drive away or you can catch the direct train from Scarborough.
