There is also an enclosed dog exercise area. For festive breaks, the property will be decorated. It is also close to the route taken by the 2014 Tour de France, so come and experience the spectacular scenery for yourself and follow in the trail of some true cycling legends. The market town of Selby, with its abbey, is just 10 minutes’ drive and the walled city of York, 10 miles, is easily accessible by car or buses direct from the village and holds an irresistible appeal for all tastes with its wealth of attractions including the Castle and Railway Museums, the minster, cobbled streets and quaint shops. The cottage is conveniently close to Leeds, Wetherby, Knaresborough and the spa town of Harrogate, whilst the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and Bridlington are all within a 90-minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Wolds also make excellent days out. Fishing nearby. Shop 3 miles, pub/restaurant 1 mile.
