The White Cottage is just a 5-minute lazy stroll from both the River Aire and the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. This detached cottage provides the perfect base for days out in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Formerly a shop, home and most recently, a traditional tea shop, the building has been lovingly refurbished and was completed in 2020. As a result, the property offers an entrance hall with ample room for coats and a rack for storage of bikes.

The living/dining room has an over-sized wood burner which will defeat even the worst of northern winters! The kitchen is well-equipped with most things you will need to cook up a hearty meal. The curved staircase with feature oak and exposed stone wall leads to the bathroom and bedrooms, one of which can be a twin room or a double room to meet your needs. Outside is a courtyard with a butler sink, ideal for washing muddy boots, bikes and dogs.

Gargrave is a delightfully welcoming village served by both train and bus services. It offers a surprising variety of facilities including café, pubs, restaurants, supermarket and post office. Only 4 miles from the bustling market town of Skipton the cottage is a fantastic base for exploring the hills around Malham Cove, Settle, Grassington and beyond.
