Second Floor:
Bedroom 3: With double bed and harbour and abbey views, en-suite shower room with shower and WC.
Bedroom 4: With double bed, feature fireplace and en-suite shower room with shower and WC.
Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment and WC.

Third Floor:
Bedroom 5 (family room): With double bed plus two singles, TV/DVD and abbey views, en-suite with shower and WC.

Bed linen and towels provided. Six beach towels provided. Fuel and logs/coal for open fire included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request.

Overlooking the colourful harbour and enjoying extensive views across Whitby with abbey views from some bedrooms, this superb Victorian property is a former sea captain’s residence dating back to 1859. The patio and small lawned garden with lovely views is perfect for dining al fresco on warm evenings. The property is spacious and well presented retaining many original features and an open fire. It is equipped and furnished with care and attention to detail, together with private parking.


The golden sandy beach, the harbour dotted with yachts and fishing boats, the town centre and the abbey and church are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Whitby is an atmospheric town with a wealth of attractions and events throughout the year. The quaint narrow cobbled streets are lined with little shops filled with antiques, crafts and giftware, tea rooms, restaurants and inns. This property also overlooks the railway line where steam trains pass by as they make their way from Whitby to Pickering along the scenic North York Moors Railway.
