Retire to the spacious kingsize bedroom for a restful night’s sleep, ready to wake refreshed for a day of exploration. The en-suite shower room is modern and sleek. Back outside, the patio area has a seating area beside the bubbling hot tub for al fresco dining or simply admiring the scenery.
The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, with a network of public footpaths and bridleways such as the Cleveland Way and the Cinder track. There are horses in the fields around you belonging to the owners. Your horse is welcome to join you on your holiday by prior arrangement.

Get the true English seaside experience by visiting the coastal town of Whitby. Or roam the miles of ancient forests, the infinity of pink and purple heather stretching as far as the eye can see over the hills and through the valleys and dales, the rugged coastline with the vast blue sea below and the wheeling seagulls above.

Whitby is just a 20-minute drive away, this seafaring coastal town has so much history. It has winding cobbled roads and hidden yards, boats bobbing along the harbour, a long stretch of beach stretching to the aptly named Sandsend all overlooked by the iconic Abbey. Discover the tales of smugglers, pirates, pioneers, vikings and even Dracula! For lovers of wildlife plan a visit to the seal colony at Ravenscar, or see the gannets, guillemots and puffins at the nature reserve at Bempton Cliff. Nearest fishing can be found around 30 minutes drive away. Beach 3 miles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
