. This impressive holiday property, one of a row, is situated in the heart of the sought-after village of Cley-next-the-Sea, and is just 110 yards from the coastal path. Discerning guests will be delighted with the attention to detail and comfortable accommodation provided.

Perfectly situated for easy walks to the beach, approx ½ mile, Cley salt marshes; a natural and protected habitat for birdlife with designated footpaths. Well worth a visit is the North Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre with viewing platforms for commanding views of the salt marsh reserve that attracts extremely rare and exciting migrating birds, and home to many unusual breeding species. Cley windmill, the village bistro pubs serving good food, art galleries, book stores, a deli selling local produce and cafés all within an easy walk. The house is set over three floors; the upstairs living room is light and airy, with a wood-burning stove and views towards the salt marshes. The ground floor kitchen has an extending dining table and opens onto the enclosed courtyard garden. The sleeping accommodation is very flexible and easily enjoyed by both family groups and friends. Maison du Quai is perfectly placed to explore all that the area has to offer.

There are excellent bird watching opportunities on the doorstep within the National Trust marshes and the Coastal Path. This coastline is famous for its uncrowded beaches, and the Coastal Hopper bus travels regularly back and forth along the Coast Road. Visit Blakeney Quay, 1¼ miles, the Georgian market town of Holt, 4 miles, Wells-next-the-Sea for its fishing harbour, shops, cafés, pubs and sandy beach, 9. 5 miles, Holkham Hall and a pine-backed sandy beach, 10 miles, and Walsingham for the Holy Shrine and Priory ruins, also 10 miles. The popular seaside towns of Sheringham 8 miles, and Cromer 12 miles, both have wide sandy beaches, a cliff-top golf course, shops, cafés and pubs. Cromer has a pier, the Amazona Zoo, RNLI museum and a working lifeboat station. Sheringham has the Splash indoor leisure pool, the North Norfolk Steam Railway and National Trust’s Sheringham Park.
