Excellent walking, cycling and bird watching are available nearby, and crabbing is a popular pastime along the quayside. Boat trips are available to the basking seal colony at Blakeney Point. Other places to visit include the award-winning Morston Hall and harbour, 2 miles, the bustling market town of Holt, 5 miles, and excellent sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.
