Enjoying an excellent waterside location, commanding views of the River Yare, this single-story detached lodge offers a unique holiday experience and has been furnished and equipped to a good standard. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, it can be as active or as laid back as you want it to be, and you are sure to be pleased. Although set in a peaceful location, this property is linked to the modern world with Wi-Fi access. There is private quay headed mooring for a motor launch (available for hire by prior arrangement), and this location is perfect for river fishing.
Full advantage is taken of the stunning riverside views from the property itself, which can be further savoured from the decked seating terrace leading directly to the waterside. An ideal location for relaxing, soaking up the sun and watching the boats pass by. Boat hire is available locally, pre-booking is recommended from the local boat yard.
This is an excellent central location for exploring Norfolk. Set in the village of Brundall, popular for boat building and hire, with its own railway station, mini market, post office, takeaway restaurants and local pubs all serving good food. Easily accessible by train or car, the city of Norwich, half an hour’s drive away, is excellent for shopping, cafés, theatre, cinema complexes, the cathedral and the castle museum.
The pretty Broadland villages, countryside and RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen are all nearby. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches, backed with dunes, are 12 miles away. Great Yarmouth is easily accessible by car or train, as are the surrounding seaside towns and villages of Gorleston-on-Sea, Hemsby, Caister-on-Sea, Winterton, California, Newport and Hopton-on-Sea, all offer great entertainment, ideal for a family holiday.
