Converted in 2019 from an old stable, these cottages offer an open plan living area where you can sleep, lounge, dine and cook. There is also a separate bathroom which includes a double rainfall shower for you to relax in 4* comfort. Externally there is a private, but open patio area with seating to enjoy the peaceful views over the fields. The cottage is accessed via a gravel driveway, and the owners live adjacent on there farm which also offers B & B.
Why not leave your car behind and enjoy the beautiful scenery which allows you to walk for hours, indulging in what natural Great Sampford has to offer.
Situated in the north of Essex in the beautiful countryside, not far from the Suffolk border, Finchingfield is very close by which is known for winning the Prettiest Village in Essex award several years running. Towns nearby are the old market towns of Saffron Walden and Thaxted. Thaxted is famous for its Morris Dancing weekend. Cambridge is steeped in history with its magnificent university to visit, and is just 30 minutes away.
Newmarket is a 40-minute drive if you fancy a day at the races or just walking on the gallops and seeing the race horses out on exercise.
There is a friendly local pub close by if you work up a thirst. If you are looking for some adventure, fear not as there are horse riding and local cookery lessons close by, and there are also plenty of towns, golf courses and other attractions within driving distance.
