Extra Amenities

Boa Vista is located on the North Norfolk coastline, a 5-minute walk from the amazing sandy beach at Bacton and the Norfolk Coastal Path. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but restricted in certain areas during the summer months. This semi-detached, modern, two-bedroomed single storey chalet with stylish rug on oak flooring, has a wrap-around enclosed decked balcony with outdoor furniture. It is located on a peaceful private park and there are large communal grasslands at the front of the chalet, which provide plenty of space for family fun and games.
Boa Vista is close to two pubs with restaurants, two fish and ship shops, a café, mini supermarket and an ice-cream parlour. It is a great starting point for walking, with circular paths going through Bacton village, while Bacton Woods is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic and has great dog walking trails.

The nearby traditional seaside resorts of Cromer, 13 miles, and Sheringham, 17 miles, provide great days out. Sea fishing is popular on nearby Walcott beach, so be sure to bring your sea fishing rod and try to catch your supper. Wroxham, 13 miles, known as capital of the Norfolk Broads, has riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. The award-winning Wroxham Barns visitor attraction is a great family day out, and from near there you can take the steam train to Aylsham on the Bure Valley Heritage Railway. The waterways are best explored from the water itself and are rich in birdlife and other wildlife. Daily river trips and boat hire is available.
BeWILDerwood at nearby Horning is an outdoor adventure park, a perfect place for children to burn off some energy.

Another children’s favourite is the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, offering both outside and inside fun, including a splash park on warm days. Avid gardeners will enjoy The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Runton and Sheringham National Trust park. The Royal Cromer and Mundesley golf courses won’t disappoint good golfers. Other National Trust properties including Felbrigg and Blickling Hall are nearby. Visitors to the area can enjoy the chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore at Horsey beach between December and February. The city of Norwich, 21 miles, offers two excellent indoor shopping malls, market square, theatre, cinema complexes, castle museum, cathedral, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Beach 150 yards. Shop, restaurant and pub ¾ mile
