Excellent walking can be enjoyed from the doorstep with the Weavers Way running through the town of Stalham and providing great opportunities to explore on foot or by cycle.

Daily boat hire and river trips available to explore the miles of waterways. Excellent river fishing and local lake fishing is also available (seasonal, and licence required) and The Norfolk Broads Museum (seasonal opening). The Broads and three pubs are all within a mile. The village centre of Stalham (2½ miles) has cafés, bakery, supermarket, chemist, petrol station, beautician, bank and eateries. Wroxham, known as the Capital of the Broads, (9½ miles) with shops, supermarket, cafés and restaurants.
During the months of November and January parts of Horsey beach are protected whilst the grey seal colony give birth, a great opportunity to visit and see nature up close.
