The perfect location for golf enthusiasts, this luxurious cottage is situated in the grounds of Little Channels golf club which is part of the Channels Estate in the beautiful Essex countryside and close to the riverside city centre. The property has been renovated to a very high standard whilst keeping all its charm. The bright living room with comfy seating and dining area is the perfect place to chill after a day playing golf or sightseeing. Each luxurious bedroom has its own en-suite, so no sharing of facilities. A lawned garden offers the perfect place to sit and relax in with your favourite tipple.
Little Channels is a stunning 9-hole ‘pay and play’ golf course and welcomes everyone to come and test their skills. This course is a good test for the better standard of golfer but also fair for the beginner. It has five par 4s, four par 3s and measures 4887 yards with a par of 32.

There is a bistro which serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, just a short stroll (around 220 yards) from the cottage. A bar and brasserie, which serves a popular Sunday roast, is a short drive away.
Drive to Chelmsford city centre or catch the park and ride bus; there you will find two shopping malls, undercover market, theatre, cinema, restaurants and bars, also for the sport minded there is the Riverside Centre where you can ice skate, swim and play sports. The Chelmsford Museum and Essex Regiment Museum sit at the heart of the city’s beautiful Oaklands park and Essex Police Museum is a short distance from the centre. On the outskirts you will find Hyland House and park set in 574 acres of parkland including recreational ancient woodland, grassland, lakes ponds and gardens, another stately home worth a visit is RHS Hyde Hall with its award winning gardens.

Chelmsford race course at Great Leighs is a great way to spend a day, or stay for one of their evening events. Located just half a mile from the cottage are a network of country footpaths allowing you to walk or run the 2 miles all the way into the centre of Chelmsford without even seeing a car!
For a day out to the coast why not visit Leigh-on-Sea where you will find the quaint streets and fish stalls at Old Leigh? Further along the coast is Southend-on-Sea which is great for children with Adventure Island and arcades. Colchester, with its castle, zoo and museums, is only 40 minutes away.
