A short walk to a beautiful beach and coastal walks, this is a traditional Victorian red brick and flint maisonette in the Sheringham Conservation Area, and has its own private front door and three bedrooms. The Seahorses has a handmade country pine kitchen and original Victorian features. Beach toys and books are provided by the owner, and the properties lie only 5 minutes’ walk from Sheringham’s beach, shops, theatre, putting green, bars and restaurants and the train stations, and close to the buses that serve the coastal towns and beyond. Situated in the town centre, the properties are not far from all the amenities that Sheringham has to offer, but are in a location that is peaceful in the evening.
Sheringham itself is a charming seaside town that has hardly changed from a century ago. It has the benefit of a heritage steam railway, a wide choice of locally run shops, bars and restaurants, an award-winning, wide family-friendly beach, unspoilt views, exceptional country walks and so much to see and experience. Sheringham is well connected by public transport, making it an excellent base for a holiday in North Norfolk; a car is not required. The neighbouring seaside town of Cromer, 5 miles away, also has a beach, promenade and pier.
There is a good day out to be enjoyed at National Trust Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and the Muckleburgh Military Collection. Blakeney Quay is 10 miles away, and there is excellent shopping to be had at Norwich, 27 miles away, with its cathedral, castle museum, theatre, two shopping centres, restaurants and cafés. Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 25 miles away and offers daily boat hire and river trips, shops, riverside restaurants and cafés. Beach 250 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yard
What do you need - house in the country or seaside holiday cottage? East of England is many peoples first choice. You will find dog friendly weekend breaks in Suffolk coast, South Suffolk or Bury St Edmunds - some have half term deals.
