Well-equipped and furnished, it has exposed beams, a vaulted ceiling and wood-burning stove in a large inglenook fireplace. There are garden areas to the front and the rear, and the swimming pool has its own small kitchen and bar area. In addition to the barn and above the swimming pool, there is an annexe with two bedrooms and a bathroom. An excellent area for walking, golf, cycling and birdwatching. Stowmarket is home to the Museum of East Anglian Life, and has shops, restaurants, a leisure centre and trains to London (1½ hours). Situated in the heart of Suffolk with many picturesque towns and villages to visit including Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Eye, Debenham, Lavenham and Long Melford, all with interesting shops, restaurants, amenities and attractions. Visit the county towns of Norwich and Ipswich, the Suffolk Heritage coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (National Trust) and Stonham Barns. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
