Hawthorn cottage is a two bedroom bungalow, in a small village, close to the market town of Ashbourne. It is superbly situated, being on the edge of both the Peak District National Park and the Staffordshire Moorlands and provides many opportunities for walking and cycling. If you are a fan of water sports then you must take advantage of the properties close proximity to Carsington Water – also great for a steady 8 mile walk or cycle all the way around. There are many other trails and walks within easy reach of the property, including the Centenary Way.

If you are a thrill seeker then this property is located a short 25 minute drive to Alton Towers theme park which makes for a great day out for all. The village of Brailsford has a shop/post-office, cafés, pub and a golf club.
