Fully renovated throughout, Heather House offers far reaching views across Bakewell, a popular and historic market town in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Home to a multitude of independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, Bakewell is rarely quiet and hosts weekly, monthly and annual events which include farmer’s markets, the annual Bakewell Show, Well Dressings and Carnival Week.



The property is convenient for exploring the local area; Buxton, Chesterfield, Matlock and Matlock Bath can all be reached in around 30 minutes as can the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton. Sheffield, Ashbourne, Leek and even Alton Towers are around a 45 minute drive, and for those wanting to give their car a rest, the magnificent Chatsworth Estate can be reached by foot across country.

Bakewell’s location on the River Wye provides ample opportunity for waterside strolls and feeding the ducks, and the traffic free Monsal Trail which provides level walking and cycling with spectacular scenery for all abilities.
