Lindum Cottage is located within a highly sought-after area of the Peak District. It lies about 5 miles from Bakewell and 9 miles from Buxton in the picturesque village of Monyash, which is everything you would imagine a Derbyshire village to be, with a café, greens and a pond, as well as a local pub serving delicious home cooked meals. You are spoilt by walks and trails, whether you want a short drive out to Chatsworth or to stay close to home and head to the High Peak Trail, there are ample of options available for you. The nearest towns of Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne are great to explore with independent shops and cafés.


If you want to try more adventurous activities besides walking, you can take a trip to Castleton and head into the Caves or Alton Towers theme park is only a 35-minute drive.
