Extra Amenities
Heather Haven is a lovely detached brick built bungalow on the edge of a pretty little market town between Kings Lynn and Spalding, which is ideally placed to visit a number of attractions including Sandringham, Heckington Windmill (the world’s only working 8-sail windmill) and Burghley House to name but a few. Other places to visit include: Nature reserves, museums, parks, halls and gardens, a lighthouse, tearooms, brewery, wildlife centre, castles and cathedrals, churches, boat rides, air museum, zoo, Norfolk Lavender and a watermill. Long Sutton itself is well known for its lovely welcoming village feel and recently won silver in the ’East Midlands in Bloom’ Awards. A bus service is available from the Market Place to Kings Lynn and Spalding. The Market place is a 15 minute walk away and has a good selection of shops, cafés/tea rooms, great gastro pubs and an array of shops ranging from a butcher and baker to a hardware store and dry cleaner.
Finding it hand to choose - house in the country or bungalow? Heart of England is UK at its best. Families will find last minute dog friendly short breaks in Painswick, Stroud or Cirencester - some have fishing nearby.
