Extra Amenities

This stunning detached holiday lodge is located in a superb position, on the same site as the largest waterwheel powering a corn mill, still working in England today and virtually unaltered since the 18th century - still in ownership of the same family for over 250 years. Set in the idyllic Shropshire countryside, deep in a wooded valley, crossed by the 19th-century viaduct, this is one of Shropshire’s finest locations. Visitors to the area are a 1-mile walk from the town centre, where you will find High Town and Low Town, plus the famous cliff railway. Other attractions nearby include Rays farm, Cosford Museum, Dudmaston Hall NT and the ever popular Ironbridge gorge and museums. There are good road links to the rest of south Shropshire including Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury, where you can enjoy anything from castles, festivals, and horse racing to the events at Theatre Severn. Golf and fishing nearby. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
