This attached, Grade II listed holiday cottage close to Harlaxton Manor, lies just a short drive from both the centre of Grantham and the Vale of Belvoir, is an ideal base for family get-togethers and is great for children of all ages. Park House is accessible from the A1 and is just over 1 hour by train from London’s Kings Cross Station and East Midlands Airport. It offers an ample driveway parking for at least 6 cars. Inside the cottage there is a well-equipped kitchen, a snug with DVD, and a large living/dining room with an additional DVD, oak beam surround, table to seat 8 and French doors which lead out to a large walled garden, a ground floor double bedroom (zip and link super kingsize, can be twin), and separate shower room (electric). Upstairs there are three double bedrooms (one can be a twin), a separate bathroom and shower room (electric).

This picturesque, conservation village has a fine dining pub, shop/post office and walks within Harlaxton Manor’s grounds and along Grantham Canal, and a children’s play area. Guests can get a temporary membership for the use of the local health and fitness centre at an additional charge (£5 per visit or £20 per week, paid directly). There are a number of golf courses available within a 20-minute drive from Park House. For fishermen, there are also 2 fisheries nearby which offer day tickets (licence required). Belvoir Lakes is 4 miles away (at cost), and Woodland Waters is 13½ miles (at cost). Enjoy Belvoir Castle (seasonal opening), including the Capability Brown gardens, Belton House (National Trust) and its adventure playground, Twin Lakes Family Theme Park, Isaac Newton’s Woolsthorpe Manor (National Trust), Rutland Water, Tallington Lakes and Burghley House, including its international horse trials.
