Overlooking an ancient hay meadow and bordered by a fenced stream and riverbank, it is peacefully secluded yet close to local amenities. It’s a walker’s haven with the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, Offa’s Dyke, the Herefordshire Trail and Marches Way nearby, as well as walks from the doorstep. There are many places of historical interest such as castles, National Trust properties, Dore Abbey, Hereford Cathedral and Mappa Mundi Centre. Golf, fishing, riding and canoeing can all be found locally. It is within an easy drive of Hay-on-Wye, 10 miles, famous for its literary festivals and known as the "Book Capital of the World", with many craft shops and galleries. Hereford is 12 miles, and Abergavenny is 20 miles, which hosts many food festivals. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
