Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Herefordshire, this property offers a peaceful retreat, while being close to a wealth of local attractions. The region is steeped in agricultural history, surrounded by lush hop fields that have been cultivated for centuries.
Oast houses, like ours, were traditionally used for drying hops, a vital ingredient for brewing local ales. Herefordshire is renowned for its hop production, and many of these charming buildings have been lovingly converted into unique homes and accommodations. Interestingly, at its peak in the late 19th century, Herefordshire produced over half of the nation’s hops, making it a key player in the brewing industry. Today, you can still admire the iconic conical roofs of Oast houses dotted across the landscape, a testament to the area’s rich brewing heritage.
Just ashort drive away is the charming village of Ledbury, known for its historic buildings and vibrant market, where you can find local produce and artisan crafts.

The beautiful Malvern Hills offer fantastic walking and hiking opportunities, with breathtaking views and an abundance of wildlife to discover. For a taste of local culture, explore the Herefordshire Cider Route, where you can sample some of the finest ciders in the UK. Don’t miss the famous Hereford Cathedral, home to the Mappa Mundi, a medieval map of the world. The nearby River Wye provides opportunities for canoeing and cycling along scenic paths.
After a day of exploration, return to the comfort of your apartment, unwind with a book from the collection provided, or enjoy a film on the TV. With so much to see and do, you’ll find the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure right on your doorstep
