Despite its rural setting, Stannington is just a 10-minute drive, and here you’ll find ample amenities including shops, pubs, cafés, and convenience stores. Just 10 minutes further and you’ll reach the city of Sheffield, which as the UK’s fourth largest city (and one of the greenest cities inEurope) has everything you’d expect, plus gardens, parks, and lots of wide-open spaces.

Heading into the Peak District, many highlights are easily accessible within around 30 minutes including Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Mam Tor, Edale and Hathersage. Castleton with its Blue John mines and impressive caverns is only 20 minutes away. Ladybower Reservoir is just 10 minutes away as is The Rivelin Valley Trail.
