Situated on the owner’s working farm and enjoying countryside views, thanks to its elevated position, this detached barn, accessed by a rough track, has been thoughtfully transformed into a comfortable holiday home, providing an ideal base from which to enjoy the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands. Overlooking Wetley Rocks and with views extending towards the Roaches, the barn is just a 10-minute drive from the popular market town of Leek, which apart from offering all the amenities one needs such as shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants and cafés, it is also renowned for its many antique shops.
This is a great area for those who love the great outdoors with access to many footpaths and great walks right from the doorstep. Other activities available locally include cycling, golf, fishing and horse riding. Local landmark, The Roaches, is just 10 miles away and is very popular with climbers, whilst watersport fans will enjoy sailing and canoeing on Rudyard Lake, 8 miles. Other places of interest and within easy driving distance include, Consall Nature Park, Hall and gardens, 2 miles, Alton Towers, 10 miles, Churnet Valley Railway, 5 miles and the Potteries at Stoke on Trent 7 miles.
