There are many good walks and cycle routes and several golf courses only a short drive away.

Interesting places to visit include Epworth, the birthplace of John Wesley founder of Methodism, the award winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park, the Vulcan Experience and many wildlife and bird reserves.
