The pond was used to feed the Arkwright Mill and the wheel is still turning. An ideal location with excellent walks nearby leading to Black Rocks, High Peak Trail, Cromford Mills and canal. Carsington Water with watersports and birdwatching is within easy reach. Matlock Bath only 1 mile and Abraham Heights and Gullivers Kingdom. Matlock for antiques and shops is 2 miles.
