Open plan living space: With Karndean floor and French doors leading to garden.
Living area: With wood burner and Smart TV with DAB radio.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.
Bedroom: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request).
Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder available from owner (at cost). Welcome pack and doggy extras.

Lawned courtyard garden (shared with other properties on-site). Sitting-out area with garden furniture. Bike store. Electric car charging point (shared with other property and owner). Private car park, 75 yards away; unloading at door. No smoking. Please note: No children over 1 year old, babes in arms only. No dogs allowed in the bedrooms and not to be left alone in the property.

These beautifully charming stables were once a working farm building and now, thanks to the skill of its renovators, are cutting edge, modern semi-detached properties to be enjoyed at any time of the year.
These quaint hideaways have everything you need for a couple’s retreat. Enjoy the outdoor seating area in spring and summer, with its dining area surrounded by trees and fields. If you are looking to visit in the cooler months, you can snuggle up infront of the cosy wood burner. Get comfy in the super kingsize bed, complete with luxurious mattress and linen. The properties offer well-equipped, fitted kitchens, ideal if you don’t fancy heading out for dinner in one of the nearby pubs or delightful restaurants.

Whilst every thought has gone into your stay, fear not the owners have not forgotten your furry friend, as guests are welcome to bring their four-legged friend with them. The Haybarn is the slightly smaller sister property to The Stables.

In the pretty village of Middleton-by-Wirksworth, close to the High Peak Trail and near to Wirksworth, Cromford, Matlock, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, the location is second to none! There are also many fantastic walks available direct from the door for those who enjoy exploring on foot. Cromford nestles in the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site and is home to the Arkwright Museum. On site there is a wonderful shopping outlet as well as the working mills showing how the textiles were produced years ago.

A couple of miles away you will discover Carsington Water offering watersports and cycle hire as well as an excellent visitors centre with a restaurant and coffee shop. Heritage enthusiasts will enjoy the Ecclesbourne Valley railways in nearby Wirksworth, and the fabulous Tramway Museum in Crich along the valley. Climbers are spoilt for choice with the Gritstone Black Rocks a short walk away, and the superb limestone crags nearby to explore. Let’s not forget the amazing stately homes and gardens dotted around this beautiful area to explore, such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall to name but a few. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub 500 yards.
