There are good walks and cycle routes from the door with the nearest pub 2 miles by road or shorter if you follow the footpath across the fields on foot.
Just a 5 miles drive takes you to the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards with along the coast the villages of Anderby Creek, Sandilands and Sutton-on-Sea with the brightly painted beach huts and the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe ready to be explored. A popular walk along the sea defences from Sandilands to Mablethorpe and then catch the bus back is often enjoyed by many visitors.
